Long Meadow Ranch Owner Ted Hall Gives Commencement Speech at CIA Greystone

St. Helena, CA 鈥 Ted Hall, president and CEO of Long Meadow Ranch & Affiliates, spoke at The Culinary Institute of America at Greystone鈥檚 certificate graduation on April 12. Twelve students in the CIA鈥檚 Wine and Beverage Graduate Certificate program graduated, along with 21 from the college鈥檚 Accelerated Culinary Arts Certificate program.

Mr. Hall is a former managing partner of McKinsey & Company鈥檚 San Francisco branch. As an advocate for sustainable farming practices, he serves on the boards of Basic American, Inc. and Sunfed Ranch LLC. He鈥檚 also a board member for Napa Valley Grapegrowers and is the chair of the Agricultural Education Advisory Committee for the St. Helena School District. Mr. Hall holds a BSE degree in electrical engineering from Princeton University and an MBA from Stanford University鈥檚 Graduate School of Business.

Long Meadow Ranch is an innovative group of family-owned companies including a winery, restaurant, caf茅, farm, ranch, and more. The group produces ultra-premium wines, olives and olive oil, grass-fed beef and lamb, and organic fruits and vegetables.
