    The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY, offer housing for more than 1,700 students. These include:

    • Four residence halls
    • Six Adirondack-style lodges
    • Three townhouses

    All CIA housing in Hyde Park also feature:

    • Furnishings that include a desk, chair, dresser, closet or wardrobe, and bed for each student
    • Air conditioning and heating
    • Free high-speed Wi-Fi
    • Common area laundry and kitchen facilities
    • Computer lounges

    Residence Halls

    , , and Halls were built in the early 1970s and house approximately 230 to 280 students per building in double occupancy rooms with private baths.

    opened its doors in 1986 and houses 375 students in double and triple occupancy rooms. There are also a limited number of quads.

    Adirondack-Style Lodges

    The (Cayenne, Cinnamon, Clove, Ginger, Juniper, and Nutmeg) are located on the north end of the Hyde Park campus. These three-story, Adirondack-style buildings accommodate 424 CIA upper-term students in four-person suites with private baths. The shared main floor living space includes a kitchen and living room/study. The lodges are grouped in a village-style arrangements where you can easily socialize and study alongside other CIA students.

    Townhouses

    The three on the north end of campus are also for upper-term students and feature:

    • Accommodations for eight students per townhouse in single-occupancy rooms with co-ed housing optional
    • Full bath on each of the three floors
    • Large kitchen with full-sized refrigerator, Viking stove, and microwave
    • Open-plan living room and dining area
    • Washer and dryer in each townhouse
