  • Student Commons and The Egg at CIA

    At the center of all campus activity at CIA New York are the Student Commons, which house dining and recreation facilities, administrative offices, and classrooms. Open Monday–Friday, 5:45 a.m.–10 p.m. and Saturday–Sunday, 9 a.m.–9 p.m., when the college is in session.

    The Egg is an extraordinary dining venue, providing seating for nearly 500 students with an additional 150 seats available outdoors. But it’s so much more than just a place to eat. For more information, please call 845-905-4747.

     

    This dining venue offers seating for 500 students with an additional 150 seats outdoors. At The Egg, you’ll also find:

    Student Recreation Center

    This facility offers a wide variety of centralized, on-campus athletic and recreation options, including:

    • Cardio center
    • Free-weight room
    • Circuit training area
    • Yoga and Pilates room
    • Gymnasium with two official-size basketball/volleyball courts
    • Indoor track
    • Six-lane pool
    • Two racquetball courts

    Outdoor sports facilities include an athletic field for softball and soccer, as well as two tennis courts.

    The Student Affairs Wing houses the following CIA departments:

    In addition, several student organizations have meeting space in this area, including:

    • La Papillote, the campus newspaper
    • SPICE (Student Programming Igniting Campus Entertainment)
  • The Brewery at CIA

    Primarily a classroom where bachelor’s-level students learn about the ingredients, equipment, and techniques required to produce ales and lagers. Award-winning beers and seasonal selections are sold on tap at The Egg, Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Saturday–Sunday, 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. You can also order crowlers of CIA beers online for shipping.
