Student Commons and The Egg at CIA
At the center of all campus activity at CIA New York are the Student Commons, which house dining and recreation facilities, administrative offices, and classrooms. Open Monday–Friday, 5:45 a.m.–10 p.m. and Saturday–Sunday, 9 a.m.–9 p.m., when the college is in session.

Student Recreation Center
This facility offers a wide variety of centralized, on-campus athletic and recreation options, including:
- Cardio center
- Free-weight room
- Circuit training area
- Yoga and Pilates room
- Gymnasium with two official-size basketball/volleyball courts

- Six-lane pool
- Two racquetball courts
Outdoor sports facilities include an athletic field for softball and soccer, as well as two tennis courts.
