A Sizzling Cabaret at the CIA: Mary Testa & Michael Starobin

Hyde Park, NY 鈥 Half Moon Theatre (HMT) presents award-winning Broadway sensations Mary Testa and Michael Starobin on Friday, November 18 and Saturday, November 19 at 7:30 p.m. at the Marriott Pavilion at The Culinary Institute of America (CIA). Tickets for the show are $90 and include a delicious autumn meal prepared by CIA chefs.

This soulful duo brings a fresh take on great American standards from 1980鈥檚 pop to Broadway show tunes making for an electrifying cabaret! Mary Testa is a two-time Tony Award nominee and Drama Desk Award-winner. She has appeared in multiple Broadway shows, including 42nd Street, On the Town, Chicago, Xanadu, and Wicked. She has also appeared on television, including a legendary cameo appearance on Sex in the City. Since 1982, Testa has created four touring shows with collaborator and close friend Michael Starobin. Starobin is a Tony Award-winning orchestrator and nationally renowned musical director. His many Broadway credits over the past three decades include Next to Normal, Sunday in the Park with George, Annie, and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, among others.

Savory Macintosh Apple & Five Spoke Cheddar Tart; Frisee with Tarragon and Walnuts; Crisped Confit Duck Leg with Granny Smith Apple Risotto Cake, Shaved Brussels Sprouts, Aged Parmesan, and Spiced Cider Reduction; Apple & Cranberry Empanadas with Cinnamon Honey and Fresh Apple Salsa. (Vegetarian option is available)
