Hyde Park, NY – Steve Romaniello, chairman of the board of FOCUS Brands, delivered
the keynote address at commencement ceremonies at the New York campus of
The Culinary Institute of America on November 6.
FOCUS Brands is the franchisor and operator of Carvel,
Auntie Anne’s, Cinnabon, McAlister’s Deli, Schlotzsky’s, and Moe’s
Southwest Grill—with more than
4,400 total outlets in more than 60 countries. Mr. Romaniello is also
managing director for Roark Capital Group, an Atlanta-based private
equity firm.
Mr. Romaniello is a recipient of
the Nation’s Restaurant News Golden
Chain Award and the International Foodservice Manufacturers Association’s
Silver Plate Award.
Mr. Romaniello spoke to 51 associate
degree graduates in culinary arts and baking
